Academic Camp Canada is excited to announce that we will offer Toronto as our transfers hub for students to meet in Canada. This coming Summer students will be able to arrive and depart in Toronto where we will spend the weekend including climbing the iconic CN tower and exploring Canada's biggest city! As a group students will fly from Toronto to their respective schools in time for the course. At the end of each 3 week course students will have the option to return to Toronto to see one of the wonders of the world. We will take a day trip to see the spectacular Niagara Falls on a day trip from Toronto where we will spend the day learning and viewing the magnificent falls. Get in touch to learn more!

NEW location revealed in New Brunswick!
Academic Camp Canada is pleased to introduce a brand new location. We will offer a 3 week course at Rothesay Netherwood in New Brunswick on the East Coast of Canada. The students will enjoy study and activities at the facilities of the stunning 200 acre campus overlooking a river. In addition to our normal academic course we will offer a specialist Medicine program made with the help of a local medical school. See our website or contact us for more information!
Our academic camp is inspirational, experimental, practical and learner-centred with a global approach. You will experience progressive learning in one of the modern Brentwood classrooms, in our special lectures on Friday evenings or outside beside the ocean! You will study in small classes where your individual needs will be met by experienced teachers. Maximum class size: 15
EXPLORATION CLASSES age 11 to 14
Our Exploration classes will help you in grades 9 and 10. We develop your academic skills and we give you a strong foundation for your future learning. You will explore and discover the full range of academic subject areas including English, mathematics, general science, the arts, social studies and social sciences. More about Exploration classes
ENGAGEMENT CLASSES age 15 to 17
Our Engagement classes will help you in grades 11 and 12. You are ready to choose the subjects you want to specialise in and you know what you want to focus on. You will learn how to engage in the subjects and develop you critical thinking and become more independent in your learning.
You have the opportunity to embrace our exciting and vibrant leisure programme to try new things, develop your leadership skills, to become more confident and team up with your new friends from all over the world.
Explore during cultural visits to Canada’s biggest and best cities, Vancouver and Victoria, where you can explore the local culture and get those all important souvenirs!
Embrace activities on campus including loads of different sports, ‘the apprentice’ themed challenges and bushcraft skills! We will both challenge you and make sure you have loads of fun!
Experience something different with our whale watching trips as you look out for orca whales, dolphins and loads more whilst enjoying our evening activities.
Throughout our exciting programme of activities and trips you will have an advisory group. This is where you team up with students from all over the world to compete against other groups in fun competitions to win the advisory award! You will leave our programme as a great team player, with developed leadership skills and filled with confidence!

British Columbia is on the west coast of Canada between the Pacific Ocean and the Rocky Mountains. Lonely Planet describes the area as being ‘wow’ - amazing and spectacular, shown in its amazing beaches and waterfalls. By joining us in British Columbia you will get to know the beautiful Vancouver Island, which is famous for the first nation people in the local towns of Victoria and Duncan. You will be welcomed to the beautiful Oceanfront Campus of Brentwood College School. The location provides an experience like no other with our school overlooking the spectacular Pacific Ocean. You will make the most of our oceanfront campus with leadership activities, swimming and canoeing.
The school has modern classrooms including art rooms, science and robotic labs, outstanding sports facilities, ocean front dining room and spacious and comfortable bunkbed accomodation.
The accommodation is spacious and homely! You will share a twin room, which will mostly be bunkbeds, in a house with all of your new friends! There is space for you to unpack your belongings, meet your new house-mates and feel right at home.

Academic Camp Canada is commited to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and expects its staff to share this commitment.
In the summer we employ a team of teachers who are qualified to teach their subjects and have experience in teaching one of the following: A-Level, IB, Advanced Placement and TEFL. See this year´s dates.
As well as experience we are looking for teachers who have enthusiasm and a love for their subjects. We like our teachers to make their subject options interesting for their students and the lessons will be a mixture of theory and practical work.
We look also for enthusiastic camp counsellors/camp leaders. Ideal for this role are active people comfortable leading groups of students through activities and trips. You must be flexible throughout our course and have a few activity ideas up your sleeve!
Staff can work from one to three weeks; teachers can work up to 30 hours a week. They can work one to four teaching blocks a week and there is the opportunity to take part in counsellor work. We offer competitive rates of pay (advertised in the job description).
